Wetherspoon's plans to reopen its pubs and hotels & # 39; in or around June & # 39 ;, were made public today.

President Tim Martin was forced to close all 900 pubs and 40,000 workers when Britain closed on March 23.

There were threats to boycott the chain when Mr Martin argued that closing all the pubs & # 39; over the top & # 39; used to be.

Today, JD Wetherspoon said the goal is to raise £ 141 million as part of a share placement scheme so it can reopen as the summer begins.

The company said it is increasing the amount by issuing up to 15.7 million shares at 900 pence per share.
