Amanda Kloots has revealed that Nick Cordero's condition has taken a turn for the worse when & # 39; the Broadway star continues to & # 39; battle against COVID-19.
The fitness instructor said her 41-year-old husband has & # 39; holes in his lungs & # 39; to the point that doctors say he & # 39; s like has been a smoker for 50 years & # 39 ;.
The difficult assessment comes just after Amanda spoke to Gayle King about the last time she saw Nick in person: then she didn't drop him in a hospital for what they both thought would be a brief investigation.
& # 39; I didn't even give him a kiss or a hug, & # 39; told Amanda on the CBS This Morning host on Thursday.

& # 39; We drove to the ambulance and we dropped him off, and this is one of & # 39; most sad parts, we thought I would see him in two hours, & # 39; Kloots said of & # 39; a day in late March.
She said she planned to take ten-month-old son Elvis for a walk before returning to pick up her husband.
After an hour of waiting, however, Nick called and told her, & # 39; Amanda, they have allowed me, I am now sitting in a bed of oxygen. & # 39;
& # 39; I was a little worried at this point, & # 39; acknowledged the 38-year-old, and added, & # 39; Nick has never been taken to the hospital. He has no pre-existing conditions. & # 39;

So sad: In another video, posted by Amanda on Wednesday, she talked about her & # 39; daily visit & # 39; to Nick's hospital – that & # 39; t of the far away must take place & # 39; because of social distance measures
& # 39; The only time I have ever been to a hospital, my son was born, so we are something new in the hospital, & # 39; passed the mother-of-one.
& # 39; That every time I hear that you are being allowed, I get a little nervous. & # 39;

& # 39; I just finished my daily visit to stand outside (Cedars Sinai Hospital) and play Nick & # 39; s song, and sing and pray and talk to him from afar. & # 39;

In her Thursday update, Kloots said that & # 39; due to COVID, Nick's lungs were severely damaged & # 39 ;.
& # 39; There are holes in his lungs where you don't want holes to be. & # 39;
& # 39; This was found to have lowered his oxygen count, & # 39; explained Amanda.
On Tuesday, the personal trainer revealed that Nick's blood pressure dropped after the actor got an infection in his lungs that & # 39; t & # 39; went into his blood & # 39; which means he & # 39; s a little septic shock & # 39; went.
Septic shock is a debilitating and potentially fatal condition that occurs when sepsis leads to life-threatening low blood pressure – for which Nick is currently on blood pressure medication.
Disclosure: Amanda also revealed that Nick had been a part of the Remdesivir clinical trial in her Instagram Stories.
Amanda said Nick's doctors went inside and cleaned his lungs.
Like the blood pressure medication, the Bullets Over Broadway star is on & # 39; really strong & # 39; antibiotics.
& # 39; This kinda came out of nowhere, & # 39; said the mother-of-one, adding that her husband & # 39; throws us for some loops that's for sure & # 39 ;.
Amanda also revealed that Nick had been part of Remdesivir's clinical trial in her Instagram Stories.
Remdesivir is an antiviral drug originally developed to treat the Ebola virus, which is reported as & # 39; some promise & # 39; in & # 39; COVID-19 treatment, according to USA Today.
Over a video of a drug news release, Amanda wrote, & # 39; Remdesivir clinical trail. Nick was part of this trial. We will never know if he was given the drug or was in a & # 39; placebo group. & # 39;

Hamilton, native Cordero, Canada, whose right leg is amputated in the midst of a health battle, is set to return to a blood pressure medication regimen to treat the fever. (He is currently in a medicated coma.)
Kloots said, & # 39; He is back on a little blood pressure medication, where & # 39; he was gone, and they are just trying to make sure this fever does not go over and out of control. & # 39;
Medics initially believed the Bullets Over Broadway star had been suffering from pneumonia, Kloots said in a April 1 post.
The performing test negative for coronavirus, then tested positive in a subsequent test.
He was placed in a medication-induced coma and put on a ventilator, and later had to be put on an extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) machine, which didn't save his life – but also caused the blood problems that didn't cause to his amputation of & # 39; e leg.
& # 39; They put the ECMO machine in him to save his life, & # 39; Amanda declared during an interview with Today earlier this month.
& # 39; It was literally saving his life, and it did, thank God. And sometimes the effect of applying that machine can cause some blood problems, and that did with his leg. & # 39;
Because of the blood clots, doctors had to amputate Nick's leg on April 18.
